Moduli Operativi D’errore

This is an audiovisual research project utilizing "No-Input Mixing Boards,"

conceived by Lorenzo Vecchio and Gianluca Sansevrino.

The performance is constructed from sounds and images generated using only obsolete mixers with no external inputs. Interconnected and pushed to the point of error, the machines produce elemental sounds and visuals built upon unstable—and sometimes irreproducible—repetitive patterns.

This practice opens up an aesthetic unbound by the standardization of results or technological production processes; creating the conditions for error to manifest is integral to the research, where the outcome is merely one of the many forms that can emerge—essentially, a celebration of failure.
